Morten Orum Madsen: Hole-in-one for Tshwane Open joint leader

Denmark's Morten Orum Madsen scored the 20th hole-in-one on the European Tour this season during his first round at the Tshwane Open

Morten Orum Madsen shot a hole-in-one in an eagle-eagle finish to claim a share of the lead with a first-round 63 at the Tshwane Open in South Africa.

Madsen, 26, got his ace on the eighth - his 17th - in Waterkloof and was the 20th on the European Tour this season.

The Dane, who finished on seven under, said: "It was only my second hole-in-one and is really special to have one on the European Tour."

England's David Horsey joined Madsen at the top of the leaderboard.
