Northern Ireland's Stephanie Meadow carded an excellent four-under-par 68 to easily make the cut at the ANA Inspiration in California.
The Jordanstown player struggled to a 76 on Thursday but hit back in style with four birdies in a bogey-free second round at Rancho Mirage.
Meadow finished on level par and three shots inside the cut mark in the season's first major.
She lies seven strokes behind leader Sei Young Kim of South Korea.
Meadow, who missed out on a full LPGA Tour card for 2015, is joint 30th going into Saturday's third round.
