Jim Furyk earned his first PGA Tour win since 2010 after he beat fellow American Kevin Kisner via a play-off to seal the RBC Heritage.
Furyk, 44, started the final day four shots behind overnight leader Troy Merritt on 10 under.
But a final eight-under round of 63 took him into a play-off, where he defeated Kisner after two extra holes.
Masters champion Jordan Spieth, 21, finished tied 11th on 10 under after a closing round of 70.
England's Luke Donald finished tied for 15th on nine under after he carded 70 too.
Spieth hit three birdies on his front nine to move to 13 under, but a bogey at the par-four 10th and a double bogey at the par-three 13th left him out of the running.
Furyk, the 2003 US Open champion, carded nine birdies during his final round, with only a bogey on the 11th marking his card. Kisner, 31, birdied the last to take it to a play-off.
Both men birdied the 18th second time around but Furyk's greater experienced told as he birdied the short 17th with a 12-foot putt after his opponent missed.
It denied Kisner a maiden PGA Tour victory and was Furyk's 17th Tour win.
