I have it on good authority that Justin Rose met with none other than Brendan Rodgers before the Masters, and was coached by the great man himself! No wonder he almost won it!!
Yes, Justin Rose is a superb golfer & seems a decent guy. However, why should this be a qualification for a meaningless bauble & title? Strange article.
It comes over as strange that a rep. of the Beeb should be advocating honours for Justin Rose when this very organisation has single handedly wrecked the standing of golf in the sporting community with every utterance in the last decade. Why? Because of it's self perceived role in setting PC agendas.
Anyone who does not admire and respect Justin should take a long look in the mirror. The man is class personified and I doubt if there is a real golfer anywhere who would not trade in his wife/partner for the opportunity to play a round with Justin Rose
A few points from the article."..More significant was the ferocious fist pump.."Is that making squelch noises with your hand? I find liquid soap helps" Few players come close to Rose's level of mental.."That chappie who wears the silly trousers, he must come quite close"..Dustin Johnson, who is on an eight-year streak"Must be cold in the winter months
sat up in bed to watch the finish this is 1 brit who along with his wife has always followed justin
@125BLT - I think you'll find it is only one bag (on the course).

@al777I don't think there has been I was asking a question there; even Luke Donald has won a WGC and he won the Honda Classic.Westwood and Donald are the only two players to have been WR#1 and not win a major though!@Tallhawk - thanks, and there was me thinking he did!@84641I'll get over it! They usually come from those with little subject knowledge
@122 84641What do you mean by the 'anti W&C posts'? It was a genuine question. I've nothing against W&C - if he makes a dumb remark or trolls, I'll pick him up (if I'm around and in the mood). And I'd expect the same back.If you ain't got a thick skin on here, you shouldn't have joined....
#120 al777No. I'll tell you - though it depends what you call a "big tournament". Let's say majors.Donald (56 weeks at #1) and Westwood (22 weeks) are the only OWGR #1s never to have won a major.I am continually bemused at the anti Whisky and Chips posts on here, but what the heck, not my problem.
Whisky - Monty never got to world number 1...
