South Korea's Lee Mi-hyang refused to allow poor weather conditions to affect her as she retained a one-shot lead at the Evian Championship in France.

In pouring rain at Evian-les-Bains, Lee posted a 70 for a third-round total of 10 under par.

American Lexi Thompson is a shot back after a 66. Morgan Pressel and New Zealand's Lydia Ko are on eight under.

Charley Hull is the highest-placed Briton in joint 12th, after firing a third successive 70.

A tense final round in the LPGA's fifth major is anticipated as 10 players are within five shots of each other.

The risk of further thunderstorms has prompted organisers to decide that Sunday's final rounds will start off two tees.
