BBC Sport - Masters 2016: McIlroy still feels he can win at Augusta

McIlroy believes he can still win Masters

Rory McIlroy still believes he can win the Masters despite a third round of five over par 77 which left him five shots behind leader Jordan Spieth going into the final round.

The world number three lies two over for the tournament after a "disappointing" 18 holes on Saturday, which saw him lose ground on the defending champion.

"I couldn't get anything going. Hopefully conditions will be a bit better on Sunday and I'll be able to attack a bit more, take on a few birdies and see what happens.

"With the finish Jordan had, it still feels like I have a chance and there are a lot of other guys who have a chance too.

"I have got to make sure I get off to a fast start and put up a few red numbers up on the board early."
