Michael Hoey made the cut for the first time in 12 tournaments thanks to a 71 at the Nordea Masters on Friday.
The five-times European Tour winner from Belfast carded a one-under-par round in Sweden to finish on four under and in a tie for 19th.
Hoey is currently 231st in the Race to Dubai standings and his last cheque came when he was joint 66th at the Abu Dhabi Championship in January.
Matthew Fitzpatrick leads by three in Stockholm on 11 under.
Hoey's last win was in the 2013 Russian Open and the biggest success of his career came two years earlier when he triumphed at the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.
Paul Dunne (75) missed the cut by a single shot on one over but Peter Lawrie (72) made the weekend action on one under.
