Winning R2D is not the achievement it used to be with so many of Europe's top players playing so often on the PGA tour. The OOM that Monty etc... won in the 90's, he was competing against the best in Europe plus best of Rest of the world on Euro tour on a regular basis. Fleetwood wins it will be because he was better over 24 events he played than Rose and other elite players have been in 12-13.
Rose is the form guy, Fleetwood needs a haircut and Garcia should wait till the year closes before changing clubs otherwise we will just hear the excuses. Rose to bloom....
Hoping Tommy wins as the other two play don't really play the European Tour!
6. I’ve played the course as well and agree that it is very tough. I far prefer playing at Emirates though, more mature, much prettier course, far more enjoyable.
Very strong finish to European Tour this year. Played Jumeirah in February. A great test. No prisoners on that course. Rose is my pick. Bizarre that Sergio is switching clubs after such a season. Bonkers really. I mean how much better a ball striker could he be!?!
So all in all an article stating one of three players could win Race to Dubai and one of them is playing with a new set of clubs. Brilliant and thought provoking article !
I am a big fan of all three players but would love for Tommy to win. Spoke to him at the Irish Open and got a lovely photograph of Tommy with his caddy Ian.He is a class act. So all the best Tommy and Ian! Ivan
Surprised to hear Garcia changing clubs after the year he has had and before such a big event. Realistically it’s between Rose and Fleetwood but think Rose is in better form, fancy him to win it.
They already get far too much cash without another $10million bonus! It may well be a great contest but eventually the cash bubble will burst, it's unsustainable, like the Premier League.
It's clearly TF's to lose with the lead he's already accumulated. However to have two Major winner's such as JR and SG potentially breathing down one's neck adds to the pressure but from a punter's perspective is a mouthwatering prospect.May the best man win but it's a shame that the FedEx Cup amount of $10m is not at stake.
