The vitriol aimed at TW never ceases to amaze me. But then some people always begrudge success of this magnitude. Walking miracle - I don't know enough about fusion surgery to comment. Walking legend? Just ask any tour player and they'll answer that question in the only way possible: Yes. #GOAT
Whether you're rooting for him or against him - or, like me, don't have a clue - Tiger is one of the most extraordinary players this sport has ever seen, he's had one of the most extraordinary stories this sport has ever seen, and now we've got yet another extraordinary chapter. One I cannot wait to read.
I hope he does well, but if he makes the cut and is still there on Sunday it will be a result.
Would love to see him coming down the stretch in contention if only to see how he handled it. Unmissable.
a lot of bitter bitter people about. As long has having a moan here makes you feel better then all good.
Oh! I wonder what the gender pay gap is here?
He is yesterdays man.....lets move on!
How is it crazy, he is only 42? If he had followed a regime like Nicklaus and Watson, which is natural for a top pro then who knows instead of Hookers and painkiller dependence. Good to see he's stopped spitting on the greens and shouting obscenities though. He's no gent.
Tiger will have to improve off the tee to have any chance. He won't get away with some of the wayward stuff he has been hitting, particularly with driver. He's been 100 yards off line at times!!
He is a wonderful golfer but calling himself a “walking miracle” is bluster that even Donald Trump would be proud of. The fusion surgery has been a great success, I am glad but really...”a miracle”...come on?!
tiger == box office - simple as that. Amazing golfer, cant wait to see if he really can still cut it.As for all the crowd interventions, i would expect any idiots shouting 'mash potato' etc will be escorted from the premises pdq. The Masters is a bit different to the rest of the calendar
I'm a bit too young to remember Seve well, so for me Tiger always was and always will be The Special One. Yes, he's messed up, both in personal and golfing terms, in recent years, but who among us is perfect or innocent? All the more kudos to him for having worked his way back up - can't have been easy.I for one will be rooting for him - and so happy that there is again someone to root for!
I wish him all the best and would love to see him compete this weekend. Could be a fascinating competition this year.
48 no one cares about the Masters OMG it is so eagerly awaited over here, I've watched for the past 30 years at least, some of us love it so it's not your bag good on you fella. But please don't make comments about us that do enjoy golf especially the Masters.
33. Posted by Buggleskelly Wednesday on 3 Apr 2018 23:08Once again Sir Nick is talking rubbish - greatest come back in sport was Niki Lauda's-----This is so true. I've got his autobiography. Remarkable man with a fascinating outlook on what it takes to be successful. He trully did go through hell. He sat in it for a couple of minutes while his face burned away. Legend.
