Another win for DJ and he makes the game look easy at times, although he missed the cut at 'The Open' on a golf course which provided a true test. The only thing that really lets him down is his habit of spitting on the golf course which is totally unnecessary. I've noticed that quite a few American players do this but I'm pleased to say not noticed it with any British or European players.
He seemed pretty cr4p playing on a proper golf course last week. Just like Woods and MclLroy, he prefers to go around these American golf courses, year after year, shooting an average of six under par per round. Monotonous in the extreme.
Watched this on Sky and noticed big DJ and a few others having the odd spit walking down the fairway. Now if that was Tiger.....!
FYI - Rory M. did not play in Canada last week. The golf was dull though.....
As a golf spectacle it was utterly dull. Hit the fairway, stick your ball like a dart on the green hole the putt 50% of the time. The fact someone who made the cut Friday, shot 2 over on Saturday and was then 15 shots behind starting Sunday says it all... Is that really golf? I was a bit bored.
Rory wasn't even playing this weekend so why are there so many posts talking about him? Whoever started it probably needs to find a way to get over some sort of unhealthy obsession.Well played to Johnson & McEvoy. Not so well played to DeChambeau!
Who is this guy and why is he getting BBC website coverage over Tiger?
Glen Abbey is a ridiculous choice for the Canadian Open. It's time to say never again to Glen Abbey. Next year at Hamilton, the course will make for a far better test of golf
Fleetwood has been a model of consistency this season. I'd love to see him bag a big one soon
How often had he won outside North America. That says it all, one dimensional game.
Another long, languid stroll in the park for DJ, another dart bored course! Seniors Open was great, Jiminez drilling balls low off the tee into the wind Sat was pure class.Wish the PGA Tour would be less concerned with course appearance on TV and actually get some of them firm and interesting. Such a downer after Ballyliffin, Gullane, Carnoustie & St Andrews.
DJ comes back fresh after his rest last weekend!
