Victory at the EuroHockey Nations Championship II in Poznan, Poland, means Scotland have won promotion to the continent's elite division.
A 2-0 win over Belarus in the final gave the Scots the gold medal and qualification to the 2013 tournament.
Vikki Bunce opened the scoring early on with a low, drilled effort before Nikki Kidd had two efforts saved by the Belarusian keeper.
Catriona Ralph's second-half penalty squirmed over the line to seal the win.
Coach Gordon Shepherd said: "We're delighted to have won and got promotion to the 'A' division.
"It has been a very hard and long road, but we've succeeded in reaching our target.
"We learned from the pool match against Belarus and produced an excellent performance.
"We started a bit slowly in the competition but got the right result. We're over the moon."
