Ireland drew with Belgium in Friday's low-key pool game at the Olympic qualifier with the sides appearing to keep plenty in reserve for Sunday's decisive clash between the countries.
The sides will meet again in Belgium on Sunday (15:30 GMT) with the winners earning a spot at the London Olympics.
Belgium took the lead in the first half in Friday's game but Chloe Watkins levelled for Ireland before the break.
The Irish beat 1992 Olympic champions Spain 3-2 on Thursday.
That victory secured Ireland's spot in Sunday's decider and the Irish women will be hoping to go one better than their male counterparts who suffered a heartbreaking 3-2 defeat by Korea in the Olympic qualifier final in Dublin last weekend.
