Ireland's women complete Scotland series with third straight victory
Ireland's women rounded off their series against Scotland with a third straight win as Nikki Daly's goal just after half-time secured 1-0 victory.
Scotland produced some late pressure in Glasgow but replacement keeper Clodagh Cassin made a number of fine saves.
On Tuesday evening, debutant Jessica McMaster's last-minute goal earned the Irish a 2-1 victory over the Scots.
Heather Lang put Scotland ahead before Lena Tice levelled from a penalty corner on 64 minutes.
After a goalless first half, Lang struck early in the second period and the Irish looked in trouble as Chloe Brown and Katie Mullan were both yellow carded.
However, Tice levelled from a penalty corner on 64 minutes before McMaster's winner.
Ireland's women are not expected to have any more fixtures in 2016 before a number of warm-up games in the New Year prior to the World Cup qualifiers in Kuala Lumpur between 14-22 January.
