Frankel's trainer, Sir Henry Cecil, has praised the unbeaten colt ahead of Saturday's Champions Day at Ascot.
Frankel, who has won all eight of his races so far, is odds-on favourite in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.
"He's growing up a lot and getting stronger and should have a very exciting year next year," Cecil told BBC Look East.
"He's an exciting horse, as time goes on he'll show us whether he really is the best we've ever seen."
He added: "He's got a lot of potential so we have to hope we can get the best out of him.
"Time will tell if he really is unbeatable, I will do my all to make sure he is as best prepared for every race as he can be."
