Dubai World Cup runner-up California Chrome is set to run at Royal Ascot.
Trainer Art Sherman will ship the US Horse of the Year to the UK straight from Dubai, where he was second behind Prince Bishop on Saturday.
Co-owner Perry Martin said: "We are grateful for the opportunity to race at Royal Ascot and hopeful that California Chrome can put up a good show."
Royal Ascot runs from 16-20 June, with horses competing for more than £5.5m in prize money.
California Chrome will be based at Rae Guest's Newmarket stables as Sherman already has connections within the yard.
The four-year-old, last year's Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes victor, won more than £1.3m with his second-placed finish in Dubai.
He missed out on a Triple Crown in the US last year with a fourth-placed finish in the Belmont Stakes.
Nick Smith, Ascot's head of communications and international racing, said: "To have another Kentucky Derby winner at Royal Ascot is exciting."
