Quest For More, trained by Roger Charlton, won the last Northumberland Plate to be run on turf at Newcastle.

The 15-2 shot, ridden by George Baker, beat the Willie Mullins-trained Max Dynamite by one-and-a-quarter lengths.

Newcastle's track is to become an all-weather course, ending a tradition of racing on grass going back to 1883.

Jockey James Doyle had a 76-1 Windsor four-timer, winning on Human Nature (7-4 favourite), Balliol (evens), Elhaame (3-1 fav) and Huntsman Close (5-2 fav).
