Irish jockey Eddie Creighton has been discharged from hospital as he continues to recover from injuries sustained in a fall in Australia.
The 31-year-old had previously been in an induced coma at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne after being unseated from his mount at Warrnambool last Saturday.
Creighton also underwent wrist surgery.
Racing Victoria tweeted: "Jockey Eddie Creighton was discharged from The Alfred today. Has made huge progress over past two days."
Creighton, who fell when his horse The Walrus stumbled early in the race, was formerly based in Britain and rode big winners for trainer Mick Channon.
