Frankie Dettori's mount Golden Horn has the task of denying Treve a record third Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe win after being added to Sunday's line-up.

The colt, winner of the Derby at Epsom, is a supplementary entry for British trainer John Gosden, while stablemate Jack Hobbs has been withdrawn.

Owner Anthony Oppenheimer has paid a fee of 120,000 euros (£88,420) to add his horse to the Longchamp contest.

Shahah and Spiritjim are the other late entries, with 18 horses remaining.

Gosden also has the only other British contender, Eagle Top, with Irish Derby winner Jack Hobbs likely to be targeted at British Champions Day at Ascot on 17 October.

The three Irish hopefuls are the fillies Found and Tapestry from Aidan O'Brien's Ballydoyle yard and Dermot Weld's Free Eagle.

Aside from 2013 and 2014 winner Treve, leading French runners include New Bay and Flintshire, both trained by Andre Fabre.
