Dual Classic winners Minding and Harzand head the field for a high-quality Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday.

They are among nine Group One winners in the contest, which has been billed as "the race of the season".

Minding has claimed six Group One races including the 1,000 Guineas and Oaks for Aidan O'Brien while Harzand won the English Derby and the Irish version.

Rivals include O'Brien stablemates Found and Highland Reel.

Highland Reel won the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot last month, while Found is the Breeders' Cup Turf champion.

The past three winners of the French Derby line up - The Grey Gatsby, New Bay and Almanzor.

Royal Ascot victor My Dream Boat and Eclipse Stakes winner Hawkbill are among other contenders.
