Nottingham Panthers have re-signed forward Jeff Heerema for a second season at the National Ice Centre.
The 31-year-old Canadian is the 11th member of last season's double-winning squad to confirm he will play for the Panthers in 2011-12.
Player coach Corey Neilson told the club website: "Jeff proved capable of adapting to the game in Britain.
"He was unstoppable in a few key games and I have no doubt he will again prove to be an asset to the team."
Heerema played in the NHL for Carolina, who drafted him in 1998, had a spell with St Louis and spent six seasons in the AHL.
Meanwhile, Czech defenceman Angel Nikolov is leaving the club to play in France.
