Cardiff Devils recruit defenceman Chris Frank
Cardiff Devils have continued to strengthen their squad by signing American defenceman Chris Frank.
The 6ft 1in Washington State native, who turns 25 on 1 August, has played in the ECHL for two seasons.
Frank played for Elmira Jackals last season and was with Las Vegas Wranglers in 2009-10 - where he was their leading bad-boy with 165 penalty minutes.
The Devils have also announced that they hope to announce another player signing on Saturday morning.
Head coach Gerad Adams, speaking to the Devils website, said that there was much more to the game of the man nicknamed 'Frank the Tank': "As always we don't want to bring [in] a one dimensional player.
"Chris has a lot more to his game than just the physical side of things. He has a good skating ability, hockey skills and awareness that will thrive under the additional responsibilities that he will get here."
