Manchester Phoenix re-sign defenceman James Neil

Manchester Phoenix have re-signed James Neil as the continue their squad building for the upcoming season.

The 21-year-old returns for his third season with Phoenix and will be used primarily as a defender next year, after previous time as a forward.

Coach Tony Hand told the club website: "I am really pleased to have James back, he is maturing as a player and played well in defence last season.

"He is a clever player and I am sure he will do a good job at the back for us."
