Edinburgh Capitals have continued their summer signing spree with the capture of forward Richard Hartmann.
The Slovak spent last season with Saxon side Lausitzer Füchse in the German Bundesliga.
Hartmann also has several seasons' experience in the Slovak Extraliga with 405 points from 151 goals and 254 assists over 555 games.
Hartmann said he was excited by his move to Scotland: "I am looking forward to the challenges ahead in Edinburgh."
And he added: "So far I think we are putting together a good team and I look forward to scoring lots of goals through the season."
Capitals general manager Scott Neil also praised Hartmann's experience.
"Richard is an experienced player who will bring leadership to the team. In his career he has been one of the top points scorers in the Slovakian Extraliga and has consistently performed at a high level," he said.
