Nottingham Panthers captain Danny Meyers says his side's team spirit has been key to their impressive start.

Panthers recorded back-to-back wins in Scotland at the weekend - Saturday night's 6-2 victory in Fife was followed by an 8-0 win in Edinburgh.

Meyers told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It is not just the results but the manner of performances we've had.

"We have had everybody contributing, the boys are happy and it has been a great team effort."

Panthers have now won their opening four Elite League matches and sit a point behind leaders Belfast Giants, who have played a game more.
