Forward Matt Francis say team chemistry is the reason behind Nottingham Panthers' unbeaten start to their Elite League season.
Panthers beat Hull 6-2 on Wednesday to go top of the table with five wins.
Francis, who scored the second goal, told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We have got such a close-knit group of guys. There is no selfishness going on."
David-Alexandre Beauregard, Corey Neilson, Robert Lachowicz, Jeff Heerema and David Clarke were also on target.
"When you get along that well, it is easy to play with each other and there is such a great atmosphere right now," added Francis.
Panthers have a one-point lead over second-placed Belfast and the two sides meet in Northern Ireland on Saturday night.
