Nottingham Panthers captain Danny Meyers condemned referee Moray Hanson's conduct during his side's 4-1 league win at Dundee.

Defenceman Meyers, 28, told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I was mystified by his behaviour. I don't understand why he speaks to players the way he does.

"As an official, if you're looking for respect then you have to give respect to the players.

"Moray Hanson needs to have a look at himself and think about his conduct."
