Hull Stingrays 3-4 Belfast Giants

Forward Benoit Doucet was on target in Belfast's comeback victory

The Belfast Giants fought back from 3-1 down to beat the Stingrays in Saturday night's Elite League clash.

Jason Silverthorn and Derek Campbell put Hull 2-0 ahead before Tom Dignard pulled one back for the visitors.

Silverton restored the two-goal advantage but the Giants hit back through Brock McBride and Benoit Doucet's equaliser on 32 minutes.

Jeff Mason netted the winner on the powerplay with five minutes left to keep Belfast top of the standings.

The Giants are back on the road on Sunday with an Elite League encounter against Coventry Blaze.
