Hull Stingrays ended a seven-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Fife Flyers.

Dominic Osman fired the Rays ahead before Matt Siddall brought the Flyers level.

Quick-fire goals from Jason Silverthorn and Jereme Tendler gave Hull a two-goal cushion before Danny Stewart pulled one back for Fife to make it 3-2.

Stingrays coach Sylvain Cloutier told BBC Radio Humberside: "It's a massive win for us.

"We needed to get that feeling back of winning games and finding a way to win games."

Meanwhile, the Rays are assessing a knee injury picked up by Dimitry Rodin in the win against Fife.

Cloutier hails 'massive' win for Hull

"Hopefully he's just tweaked it and got scared more than anything," Cloutier said.

"We'll re-evaluate him on Tuesday and see how he feels. If it does swell up we'll get him looked at but we'll have to wait and see."
