Nottingham Panthers player-coach Corey Neilson says a never-say-die attitude is behind his side's recent success.
Panthers have dropped only four Elite League points from a possible 28 and have closed the gap on leaders Belfast Giants to only three points.
Neilson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I don't remember losing in the last little while.
"We're always in it - whether we're up or down in the second period, we always seem to find a way to get there."
Panthers' record in the last 15 matches is 11 wins, three defeats and one tie - a Challenge Cup game in Coventry.
They head into an Elite League match with Hull Stingrays having won morale-boosting back-to-back games with bitter rivals Sheffield Steelers over a congested Christmas period.
