Nottingham Panthers have completed the signing of their former forward Sean McAslan and have sealed a deal for Sami Ryhanen until the end of the season.
Finnish forward Ryhanen, 31, originally signed on a short-term contract but has now extended that spell.
And McAslan has returned to the National Ice Centre for a third time and will be their 11th import.
"It's great to be back and it feels like I never left," the 31-year-old told BBC Radio Nottingham.
He has been coaching in Canada for over a year and said: "I have to be back and forth a little bit but come March I will be here for the rest of the season and the play-offs.
"The team are coming off a tough loss but we're looking forward to starting a new streak and hopefully I can be a part of it."
Both players will be available for the weekend's Elite League double header against Cardiff Devils.
