Elite League title challengers Belfast Giants have been boosted by the signing of former player Paul Deniset.
The Canadian forward, who had spells in Denmark, Austria and France after leaving Northern Ireland, has signed until the end of the season.
Deniset played for the Giants in the 2008/09 season, scoring 38 goals and 48 assists for 86 points in 51 games.
The 30-year-old will make his Giants return in home matches against Coventry Blaze on Friday and Saturday.
"We are pleased to get Paul back in Belfast. He was one of the top players in the league when he was here before," said Giants general manager Todd Kelman.
"Our guys have stepped up in a big way this season, particularly recently when we have been playing short-staffed.
"Deniset is coming into a good team, with guys who want to win a championship together.
"I know Paul will fit in perfectly with this group of guys, which is vital when you bring in someone new halfway through the season."
