Belfast Giants extended their lead at the top of the Elite League to nine points with a convincing home win over Edinburgh Capitals on Friday.
Jeff Mason gave the Giants the lead but Rene Jarolin equalised before the end of the first period.
Belfast hit three without reply in the second period through Mark Garside, Darryl Lloyd and Aaron Clarke.
Iain Bowie got Edinburgh's second goal but Robert Dowd struck twice as the Giants sealed their sixth win in a row.
Belfast are at home to Nottingham Panthers in a top clash on Saturday night.
