Giants biggest test - Nottingham's Rob Lachowicz
Forward Rob Lachowicz says this weekend's Elite League double header with Belfast is the ultimate test of Nottingham Panthers' title credentials.
Giants lead Corey Nielson's men by seven points, but two Panthers wins would open up the title race.
Lachowicz told Radio Nottingham: "It's huge. We can't afford any slip-ups.
"Belfast for me is the toughest team. They seem to have all the strategies and everyone buys into the system, which is why they are doing well."
But Lachowicz says the fact his side beat Belfast on their own patch last week has given them a big boost ahead of Saturday's game at the National Ice Centre - the first of two home games in 24 hours.
"Once you have beaten a team once, you know you can and you take a lot of confidence from beating them in their own place," he added.
