Nottingham's Guy Lepine ready to face Belfast Giants

Nottingham Panthers

Nottingham Panthers player coach Corey Neilson says Guy Lepine will be back to face Belfast in the Challenge Cup final second leg in Nottingham on Tuesday.

The defenceman missed Saturday's 4-1 Elite League win at Hull with illness.

Neilson told the club website Lepine will return for Panthers, who lead 5-1 after the first leg, as they look to beat Belfast and win the Challenge Cup for a fourth time in five years.

"Guy was sick so we didn't want to risk him but we expect him back," he said.

"We played well and the good news is everyone came through without any injury worries."
