Nottingham Panthers and Braehead Clan will get the Elite League play-offs under way on Tuesday when they meet in the first quarter-final tie.
Panthers are away in the first leg, with the return fixture at the National Ice Centre on Saturday, 31 March.
Champions Belfast play Dundee, runners-up Sheffield face Hull, and Cardiff take on Coventry.
The winners will meet in the play-off finals weekend in Nottingham on Saturday, 7 and Sunday, 8 April.
Panthers skipper Danny Meyers, whose side beat Edinburgh Capitals 7-0 on Friday before losing in overtime to Belfast on Saturday in the final games of the regular season, said their play-off opposition makes little difference to their approach.
"The road we took to the Challenge Cup was the toughest of roads, the road we took the play-offs last year was the toughest of roads," Meyers told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"I feel we need to play a tougher road because it sets you up for the final four if you make it so I'm perfectly happy with Braehead.
"It makes no difference if it is Braehead, Belfast or Sheffield. There is no other changing room I would rather be in so I am very confident."
