Elite League side Nottingham Panthers have signed tough Canadian forward Kelsey Wilson.
The 26-year-old is waiting to get his visa approved and he will replace NHL forward Anthony Stewart, whose short-term deal ends later this month.
Panthers coach Corey Neilson said: "Kelsey makes things happen and he knows what it takes to get his team across the finishing line.
"We are looking forward to having him in the Panthers line-up."
Kelsey has played much of his career in North America in the American Hockey League, but recently spent a season in Austria.
