Belfast Giants completed back-to-back pre-season wins over Italian side Bolzano Foxes as they earned a 2-1 overtime success on Sunday afternoon.

After Saturday's 6-3 win at the Odyssey Arena, Kevin Saurette hit Belfast's opening goal on Sunday.

Marco Insam levelled for Bolzano but new signing Calvin Elfring notched the winner 25 seconds into overtime.

Elfring, Darryl Lloyd (two), Colin Shields, Gareth Roberts and Robby Sandrock scored Saturday's goals.

Bolzano took an early lead in Saturday's game but the Giants moved 3-1 and 4-2 ahead before clinching a three-goal triumph.

Saturday's game included a ceremony which saw the retirement of Todd Kelman's number 44 jersey.

Kelman is now the club's general manager.
