Nottingham Panthers: Tuukka Makela set for contract

Nottingham Panthers have signed Finnish defenceman Tuukka Makela, subject to the relevant paperwork being completed.
The 31-year old has 10 years of experience in the top flight in his home country.
Flights from Finland are being arranged and the club hope he will be in the line-up for the weekend fixtures in Scotland against Fife and Edinburgh.
Makela will provide cover for injured Brent Henley and Eric Werner, while Nick Anderson left the club this week.
