The Cardiff Devils exacted revenge for their defeat at the hands of the Belfast Giants on Saturday by winning 3-2 on their own ice on Sunday night.
After a scoreless first period, new Giants acquisition Kevin Westgarth opened the scoring in the second period, with Matthew Myers replying.
Goals from Joey Haddad and Doug Clarkson put the Devils in control in the third period.
David Phillips found the net to reduce the Giants' losing margin.
Ballymoney man Andrew Dickson was named as netminder for the game in the absence of regular Stephen Murphy, who was injured in Saturday evening's match at the Odyssey Arena.
The results means Steve Thornton's side failed to reduce their arrears on league leaders Braehead Clan.
The Giants travel to face Sheffield Steelers next Saturday, before hosting Nottingham Panthers on Sunday.
