The Belfast Giants have signed Canadian forward Nathan Robinson for the rest of the 2014-15 Elite League season.
Robinson will go straight into the line-up on Saturday when the Giants clash in the first of two games in as many nights at Coventry Blaze.
The 33-year-old has a wealth of experience, including spells with the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins.
He has also played in the Elite League, having begun the current season with the Nottingham Panthers.
Giants Head of Hockey Operations Steve Thornton is enthused by the newest addition to his squad.
"We need help to create more offence and Nathan will add creativity to our line-up," said Thornton.
"Earlier this season against the Nottingham Panthers, he was the most dangerous player on the ice. Robinson is a left shot, a good skater who is proven and will fit right in to our locker room."
