Braehead beaten by ERC Ingolstadt in Champions Hockey League

Braehead Clan succumbed to a second defeat in the Champions Hockey League as ERC Ingolstadt beat the Scottish side 5-2.

Clan, who lost 10-2 to Sweden's Vaxjo Lakers in their competition debut on Thursday, temporarily led in Germany through Matt Keith.

But two from Petr Taticek turned the match in Ingolstadt's favour.

Chris Bruton levelled matters again before John Laliberte's brace and one from Thomas Greilinger settled it.

Braehead, the first Scottish team to play in the tournament, host Vaxjo and Ingolstadt on 29 August and 5 September, respectively.

The top two in Group 15 will progress to the play-offs.
