Elite League: Giants lose 2-1 to Blaze after shootout

The Belfast Giants lost 2-1 to Coventry Blaze on a penalty shootout after the Elite League game at the SSE Arena ended 1-1 after overtime.
Mike Radja gave the Giants the lead in the second period but Josh Godfrey equalised on the powerplay in the third period, with no scoring in overtime.
Drew Fisher found the net twice for Blaze in the shootout, with James Desmarais on target for the Giants.
The sides meet again in Coventry on Sunday, with a 17:15 BST start.
