Nottingham Panthers forward David Ling has told supporters there's more to come after he scored on his second debut in a 7-1 victory over Dundee.
Panthers picked up three points from a possible four as they were beaten in Cardiff on Sunday after penalty shots.
Ling, who returned to the club last week, was put on a line with Stephen Schultz and Andy Bohmbach.
"We were fine out there and will only get better with time," the 40-year-old told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"They are two players who know how to play with each other.
"The more comfortable you get and the more you know people's tendencies, the better we will become."
Ling helped Panthers to the treble last time he was in Nottingham in 2012-13 and walked away with a host of personal awards, including the EIHL player of the year.
"It was good to get here a couple of days early and get the rust out," he continued.
"I felt my legs for one shift but they loosen up. I felt pretty good."
