  1. England retain Home Nations title

    England have retained their Home Nations crown with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Northern Ireland. Michael Skubala's side remained unbeaten through the tournament to top the four-team league.

    Earlier, Wales defeated Scotland 6-2 to secure second spot after losing their first two games.

  2. What happened on day two?

    England continued in their pursuit of defending their Home Nations crown, coming from a goal behind to beat Scotland 3-1. Michael Skubala's side fell behind to Craig McLeish strike before Liam Palfreeman leveled the scores before half-time. England came out rejuvenated in the second half and goals James Webb and Agon Rexha secured victory and put them top of the table.

    In the day's late game, hosts Northern Ireland put their opening day defeat to Scotland behind them with a confident 2-0 victory over Wales. Goals from Darius Roohi and Jack Magee sealed victory for Jonathan Michael’s men.

  3. What is the Futsal Home Nations Championships?

    The Futsal Home Nations Championships is a three-day event taking place in at the Newry Leisure Centre from Friday, 30 November to Sunday, 2 December.

    Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland will be participating.

    Last year's tournament was won by England who recorded three victories. They started with a 3-0 win over Wales before thrashing Northern Ireland 5-1. Those two wins set up a winner-takes-all encounter against Scotland which Michael Skubala’s side comfortably won 5-0 to take home the trophy for the first time.

  4. Latest World Futsal rankings

    England are the only one of the Home Nations ranked in the top 50 in the world in Futsal in the latest rankings.

    England are ranked 49 in the world and behind Kazakhstan (7th), Thailand (18th), Uzbekistan (28th) and Kuwait (40th). They are the 25th-highest ranked European nation.

    Wales (79th) rank next among the Home Nations with Scotland and Ireland just inside the world top 100.
