  1. Close of play

Round four of the County Championship is over with Kent the only winners as the other seven games end in draws.

A total of 16 centuries were scored over the final two days as the weather improved - and there was a thrilling last-ball finish at Trent Bridge where Yorkshire held out for a draw against Notts after earlier making a bold effort to chase down a target of 320.

Notts are the new leaders of Division One, one point ahead of Warwickshire, who were not involved in this round of matches. In Division Two, Essex hold a 21-point advantage over Leicestershire following their draw against Worcestershire at New Road, where Alastair Cook scored another hundred.

Eight more games will get under way on Sunday and we'll be here from 10:45 BST with live text updates and ball-by-ball commentary.

Thanks for your company over the past four days.

    Derbyshire 324 & 229-1 dec v Northamptonshire 470 - Match drawn

  3. NOTTINGHAMSHIRE DRAW WITH YORKSHIRE

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 257-9

Last man Jack Brooks pushes his first ball for four through the vacant offside. What can Stuart Broad produce with the finally delivery of the game? It hits Brooks on the pads, but there's an inside edge there and Yorkshire have survived.  An absolutely exhilarating final session at Trent Bridge - 10 points apiece for the two sides.

  4. WICKET Patterson (lbw Broad 1)

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 253-9

Unbelievable. Stuart Broad pins Patterson on the crease and he has to walk. Last man Jack Brooks walks out. Two balls left. Wouldn't like to be in his shoes.

  5. Down to the wire

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 253-8

Six deliveries to go, Notts need two wickets. Stuart Broad has the ball. Number 10 Steven Patterson is on strike. Harry Gurney has finished with 4-52.

  6. Broad back for final burst

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 252-8

When Jonny Bairstow was batting Stuart Broad was aiming anywhere but at the stumps, now the first five are right on target as he tries to carry his side a thrilling victory.

Adil Rashid gets solidly behind every one, and then lets the last one go as Broad leaks it down leg-side. Yorkshire have only two more overs to survive.

  7. WICKET Willey (lbw Gurney 5)

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 252-8

Harry Gurney strikes again as David Willey departs in identical fashion to skipper Andrew Gale. left-armer Gurney now has 4-52 and Yorkshire still have 3.2 overs to survive. Steven Patterson is next man in, with only Jack Brooks to come.

  8. WICKET Gale (lbw Gurney 2)

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 251-7

Harry Gurney finds a bit of movement to win an lbw decision against Yorkshire skipper Andrew Gale and pick up his third wicket. Suddenly it's Notts who are scenting victory at Trent Bridge in what has been a full-on encounter between two highly competitive sides. With five and a half overs left, can they pick up the three wickets they need?

  9. Gale takes no risks

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 250-6

That appears to be that with Yorkshire now content to push for ones. They need 69 off six overs to win.

  10. WICKET Plunkett (c Lumb b Gurney 11)

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 247-6

Liam Plunkett slices a catch to cover and Yorkshire need 73 from seven for victory, but only have four wickets left. Captain Andrew Gale is next to the crease - what instructions does he have for partner David Willey?

  11. Meanwhile at Trent Bridge...

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 240-5

Yorkshire need 80 of the last eight overs for victory over Notts. Liam Plunkett is six not out, with David Willey on three.

  12. SUSSEX DRAW WITH LEICESTERSHIRE

    Sussex 163 & 377-6 v Leicestershire 473-8 dec

Despite a 310-run first-innings lead, Leicestershire are unable to follow the success of the city's football team and world snooker champion Mark Selby by forcing a victory as Sussex bat through the final day on a benign pitch at Hove to secure a draw.

Chris Nash's 144 was the focal point of their rearguard effort, with Ed Joyce (69) and Ross Taylor (62) also making significant contributions. Another encouraging performance, though, by the Foxes, for whom Charlie Shreck took 2-62 and they take 12 points to Sussex's six.

  13. WICKET Lees (c Bird b Gurney 103)

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 234-5

    Alex Lees

Another one gone as centurion Alex Lees flicks catch to Jackson Bird on the fence at long leg. David Willey is Liam Plunkett's new partner, and this may be Yorkshire's last throw of the dice.

  14. WICKET Bairstow (c Broad b Ball 35)

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 227-4

Jonny Bairstow throws the kitchen sink at the ball, but Stuart Broad takes the catch safely on the cover boundary to send his England teammate on his way. Alex Lees is 103 not out as Liam Plunkett comes out to join him - 93 needed by Yorkshire off 10 overs.

  15. SURREY DRAW WITH DURHAM

    Surrey 457 & 244-6 v Durham 607-7 dec

A determined final-day effort by Durham does not bring the reward of victory as Ben Foakes (36*) and Gareth Batty (17*) secure a draw for Surrey at The Oval. Paul Collingwood's 106 not out and three wickets by Ben Stokes put the visitors in the ascendancy, but they were unable to press home their advantage, with Tom Curran playing a mature innings of 54 for the home side. Durham take 12 points and Surrey 11.

  16. ALEX LEES HITS CENTURY

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 216-3

Alex Lees puts away a bouncer from Stuart Broad for his 13th four to bring up a 116-ball century. Following his 92 in the first innings, it's been a tremendous match for the left-handed opener - 104 needed from 11.3 overs.

  17. Broad tries to stem tide

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 199-3

Having been swept for six by Jonny Bairstow is now aiming as far outside off stump as he dares without conceding wides as Yorkshire continue to pursue an unlikely victory. Liam Plunkett is padded up in the pavilion, and you can bet David Willey won't be far behind him. Another 121 are needed from 13.

  18. WICKET Brown (lbw Shreck 16)

    Sussex 163 & 362-6 v Leicestershire 472-8 dec

Sussex are still not absolutey safe as acting captain Ben Brown goes. Their lead is 52 and there are another 16 overs possible.

  19. WICKET T Curran (c Richardson b Rushworth 54)

    Surrey 457 & 224-6 v Durham 607-7 dec

Chris Rushworth returns for a new spell and removes Tom Curran, whose 52 came off 94 balls, with nine fours. Still no sign of injured Zafar Ansari - will he bat in an emergency is Surrey lose three more wickets quickly? Overs running out fast now for Durham as the home side try to secure a draw.

  20. WICKET Root (c Smith b Ball 27)

    Nottinghamshire 261 & 348 v Yorkshire 290 & 173-3

Joe Root holes out at deep mid-wicket as Jake Ball dismisses him for the second time in the match and Jonny Bairstow replaces him in the middle. How will Yorkshire play this now?
