  1. Goodbye

And that's all from us tonight! Thanks for following the match on the BBC Sport website on a night when Liam Livingstone was the star man for Lancashire, taking four wickets and getting the run chase off to a good start with a quickfire 28.

  2. Lancashire Lightning win by 8 wickets

    And that is that!

A pretty straightforward run chase all-in-all, with Lancashire never looking like falling short.

Fittingly, Alex Davies is the man to wrap it up for Lightning with a nice cut over point to the boundary which brings up his 50.

  3. Jennings dispatches Chappell for six

If you thought that Lancashire might have slowed down after losing a couple of wickets, then you would be wrong. This is absolutely beautiful from Keaton Jennings - possibly the best shot of the match.

Zak Chappell bowls round the wicket and puts one right in the slot for the left-hander.

The Lancs man needs no invitations and sends it straight back over the bowler's head with a lofted straight drive which easily clears the rope.

This one is very close to being done, with Lancashire needing just a handful more for victory.

  5. Davies hits first six of the Lancs innings

They might have just lost Liam Livingstone but Lancashire aren't hanging around here - they want this finished quickly and have started at full throttle.

Following a string of fours from Livingstone, Alex Davies joins the party hitting the first six of the Lightning chase.

Mohammad Nabi is the Foxes bowler on the receiving end as the Lancs opener skips down the track before unleashing a powerful stroke which flies over the rope.

  6. WICKET

    Livingstone c Nabi b Raine 28 (Lancs 42-1)

He'd been living dangerously for the last few balls and now Liam Livingstone has to depart after a handy 28 with Ben Raine the man to make the breakthrough.

The Lancs skipper hit six fours in his 11-ball knock and goes trying to find the boundary again. Instead of the rope, he can only pick out Mohammad Nabi on the leg side boundary.

Chappell run out (Lester) (Leics 142 all out)

And that's it for the Leicestershire innings.

Zak Chappell is run out by some quick fielding from Toby Lester. Mohammad Abbas attempts a big swing but it doesn't go far, finding ts way back to the Lancashire bowler.

Lester reacts quickly to gather ball and hit the stumps to dismiss Chappell as he attempts to sneak a quick single.

Here is how the Foxes innings came to an end...

It's a beauty of a delivery too, pitching right at the feet of the Foxes wicketkeeper and making a mess of his stumps.

Oh dear... After a blistering start Leicestershire find themselves in some trouble.

The spinners seem be having the desired effect for Lancashire, with Matthew Parkinson adding to the two wickets Liam Livingstone claimed in the previous over.

Mark Cosgrove is the latest man to fall for the hosts after an explosive 31. The left-hander looks to go big again, walking down the track, but he misses and is stumped by Dane Vilas.

  15. WICKET

    Raine b Livingstone 0 (Leics 89-3)

Bowled him! What an over for Liam Livingstone, who bowls Ben Raine to claim his second wicket of the over.

Raine has been in fine form for the Foxes in the T20 Blast this season but he is deceived by a quicker delivery from the Lancs captain and goes for a golden duck.

  17. Cosgrove brings Leicestershire to 50

It might have taken Leicestershire a couple of overs to get going but they are now well and truly in the swing of things.

After a nervy couple of balls, Mark Cosgrove does what he does best, powering the ball through the leg side to take his side to 50.

  18. WICKET

    Delport c Livingstone b Onions 25 (Leics 41-1)

Just as he started to get things going for Leicestershire, Cameron Delport is forced to depart for 25.

The Foxes opener tries to hit Graham Onions down the ground but doesn't quite get hold of it, sending the ball high.

It's in the air for a long time giving Liam Livingstone time to position himself underneath it and the Lancashire captain makes no mistake.
