  1. Notts 77-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 45, Libby 22

And another max to finish the over.

It's not quite as well timed as the first, but still has plenty on it to go over the mid-wicket boundary. Big over for Notts - 16 from it.

That may well be Brett D'Oliveira's last over.

  2. for Hales

    Notts 69-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Got it!

Alex Hales gets down on one knee and smashes Brett D'Oliveira 30 rows back. A massive blow.

  3. Notts 61-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    101 needed off 60 balls

Moeen Ali brings himself on and it's another miserly over from the Rapids. Six from it, but more importantly, no boundaries.

The required run-rate creeps above 10 an over.

  4. Notts 55-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 30, Libby 15

This game is bubbling up into a gripping finish at Trent Bridge.

Rapids leg-spinner Brett D'Oliveira concedes five singles and a wide off his first over.

Notts need 107 off 66 balls.

  5. Post update

    Somerset 155-2 (15 overs) v Glamorgan - target 181

26 required off five overs for Somerset.

  6. Notts 49-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 28, Libby 12

Ed Barnard comes into the attack and Jake Libby smears him through the covers to the rope.

But it's a tidy over otherwise - eight from it.

  7. BreakingMIDDLESEX BEAT ESSEX BY SEVEN WICKETS

    Essex 164-6 (20 overs) v Middlesex 166-3 (17 overs)

    AB de Villiers

We suspected AB de Villiers might do something special tonight and he hasn't disappointed.

The South African finishes unbeaten on 88 off 43 balls to guide Middlesex to a seven-wicket win over Essex at Lord's.

Ryan ten Doeschate (74 not out) got Essex to a reasonable total, but De Villiers and his Middlesex team-mates made light work of the run chase.

Middlesex are going to be a decent watch in the T20 Blast this summer.

  8. Notts 41-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 26, Libby 6

Worcestershire's bowlers are keeping Notts in check here. The required run-rate is creeping up towards 10 an over as Pat Brown concedes just five singles from his second.

    Super stuff from the 20-year-old.

  9. Post update

    Somerset 138-2 (13 overs) v Glamorgan - target 181

Somerset are making light work of their target of 181 at Sophia Gardens. Peter Trego has taken it on for the visitors after Tom Banton's dismissal, hitting a few fours to get them closer to victory.

  10. Notts 36-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 23, Libby 4

    Lovely shot from Alex Hales.

Wayne Parnell goes too full and the Notts opener creams him through the covers to the rope.

Hales is up to 23 and beginning to look dangerous.

  11. Post update

    Middlesex 144-3 (15.3 overs) v Essex - target 165

Dawid Malan is stumped off Aussie leg-spinner Adam Zampa for 43. He's played second fiddle to AB de Villiers in that century stand, but that's just what Middlesex needed.

The hosts should still wrap up a comfortable win fairly shortly.

  12. Notts 29-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 17, Libby 3

    Alex Hales

A much better over for Notts, helped by that Alex Hales six over square leg. 10 from Dillon Pennington's third.

  13. Post update

    Middlesex 139-2 (15 overs) v Essex - target 165

AB de Villiers is having a dream debut with the bat - 76 not out off 39 balls, and it's a century partnership with England's Dawid Malan.

Opposing bowlers will be having nightmares about bowling to him in the next few weeks.

Middlesex are cruising. 26 needed off the last five overs. Victory isn't too far away.

  14. for Hales

    Notts 26-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    ABSOLUTELY NAILED!

Dillon Pennington drops short and Alex Hales smears him into the stand. It went like a bullet.

  15. Notts 19-2 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 8, Libby 2

The required run-rate is already approaching nine an over for the Outlaws.

This pitch is not that easy to bat on it seems.

  16. WICKET

    Duckett c Wessels b Brown 2 (Notts 16-2 v Worcs)

Notts are in real early trouble now.

It's not a great ball from Pat Brown, but Ben Duckett can only smite a length delivery straight to cover.

  17. Post update

    Somerset 112-2 (10 overs) v Glamorgan - target 181

Tom Banton goes! 64 off 34 for the Somerset opener, who is caught in the deep.

69 needed off 10 for the visitors to get an opening-night victory.

  18. Notts 13-1 v Worcs (target 162)

    Hales 7, Duckett 1

Alex Hales JUST squeezes it through the off side to the boundary.

It was in the air but past the despairing dive of the fielder. Still a fantastic over from Dillon Pennington - five from it and the wicket of Joe Clarke.

  19. 50 for AB de Villiers

    Middlesex 107-2 (12.3 overs) v Essex - target 165

    AB de Villiers

Another huge six and then a fortunate inside edge for four - AB de Villiers has a debut fifty for Middlesex off 29 balls.

The South African is getting Middlesex closer and closer to that target of 165.
