  1. Thank you and good night

Right then - that's where we'll leave things for tonight as Lancashire's supporters and players get ready to take the bragging rights back with them back west along the M62.

As mentioned, we've got a bumper list of T20 Blast fixtures on the way for you on Friday night.

Be sure to join us across BBC Sport from 18:00 BST to keep across it all.

Check in later for a review of what happened tonight in the T20 Blast and what's also in store for the Test match between England and Ireland on the cricket section.

    Until next time....

  2. Still to come on Friday night

You don't have to wait long for your next dose of T20 Blast action.

We'll be back tomorrow evening with eight matches - four in each group.

Among the highlights will hopefully be Jofra Archer's return for Sussex against Surrey, a Thames Estuary derby between Kent and Essex and an East Midlands clash between Derbyshire and Notts Outlaws.

    Here's your full fixture list:

    North Group:

Old Trafford: Lancashire Lightning v Worcestershire Rapids (18:30 BST)

Leicester: Leicestershire Foxes v Durham (18:30 BST)

Northampton: Northamptonshire Steelbacks v Birmimgham Bears (18:30 BST)

Derby: Derbyshire Falcons v Notts Outlaws (19:00 BST)

    South Group:

Cardiff: Glamorgan v Middlesex (18:30 BST)

Taunton: Somerset v Hampshire (18:30 BST)

Canterbury: Kent Spitfires v Essex Eagles (19:00 BST)

Hove: Sussex Sharks v Surrey (19:00 BST)

  3. Lancashire beat Yorkshire by nine runs

This was probably the key wicket that put Lancashire on their way to victory at Headingley.

West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran looked like he might win it for Yorkshire on his own until Saqib Mahmood brought his knock of 43 off 31 balls to an end...

    Yorkshire 161-9 (20 overs) v Lancashire 170-6 (20 overs)

All over then as Saqib Mahmood holds his nerve in that last over for Lancashire to give the Red Rose the bragging rights once more.

Good game that which had its ebbs and flows without any real stand-out individual performances.

Lancashire win by nine runs and take the two points.

Yorkshire with just the one win from their four games so far, Lancashire with two wins from their three matches.

  5. Yorks 161-9

Just one for Jordan Thompson and Yorkshire as Saqib Mahmood delivers a lovely yorker.

Game done as it's down to 10 needed off one.

  6. Yorks 160-9

    Dot ball!

    11 needed off two.

  7. Yorks 160-9

Four more for Yorkshire and Jordan Thompson!

11 needed off three balls now!

  8. Yorks 156-9

Four off the second ball of the over from Jordan Thompson.

    15 needed off four balls....

  9. Yorks 152-9 (target 171)

19 needed to win off the last over then for Yorkshire with one wicket left.

Saqib Mahmood to bowl it for Lancashire.

  10. WICKET Olivier run out 1

    Yorks 150-9

Oh no - what have you done here Yorkshire?

Duanne Olivier is the unfortunate man to be run out at the end of a communication breakdown between him and Jordan Thompson.

Both batsman met at the same end as one of them wanted two and the other well, didn't!

    We're almost done....

  11. WICKET Pillans lbw b Faulkner 8

    Yorks 149-8

    Wicket time again for Lancashire.

James Faulkner grabs it with one that swings back in to Mathew Pillans whose cameo is over.

Yorkshire's victory hopes may well be too now...

  12. Post update

James Faulkner to bowl the penultimate over of the match....

  13. Yorks 148-7 (target 171)

Need 23 more runs to win off 12 balls

    Wait a minute....

Mathew Pillans fancies being a hero here for Yorkshire.

The number 10 smashes back-to-back fours at the end of that Saqib Mahmood over to keep his side interested.

  14. WICKET Bess lbw b Mahmood 0

    Yorks 140-7 (target 171)

Well the fat lady is certainly warming-up now...

Dom Bess lasts just two balls as he is pinned leg before by a beauty of an inswinger from Saqib Mahmood.

Little doubt about that one and some of the home faithful are making an early dash for the exits...

  15. WICKET Pooran b Mahmood 43

    Yorks 140-6 (target 171)

    This could be game over!

Nicholas Pooran had struck the first ball of Saqib Mahmood's comeback over for a straight four but the next ball rearranges all of his stumps.

Pooran went for the big heave but missed. Yorkshire could well be done and dusted after that.

  16. Yorks 136-5

Need 35 more runs off 18 balls

James Faulkner gives little away off the rest of that over.

Yorkshire still with a sniff but lots depends on Nicholas Pooran getting on strike with three overs to go.

  17. WICKET Ballance run out 4

Yorks 131-5 (need 40 more runs to win off 22 balls)

Oh no - mix up in the middle after Gary Ballance times one nicely off James Faulkner to try and get Nicholas Pooran back on strike.

But Richard Gleeson is the man with the dead-eye throw that hits the non-striker's end stumps and leaves Ballance short by a yard of so.

    Big wicket for Lancashire.

  19. BreakingSurrey win by 97 runs

    Glamorgan all out for 44

Gareth Batty's finished it by bowling Michael Hogan! Surrey have won by a whopping 97 runs... Having posted just 141 at The Oval.

An absolutely incredible night of T20 cricket.

Glamorgan are bowled out for their lowest ever total - 44 - to lose an away match at Surrey in the T20 Blast for the first time.

  20. Yorks 129-4 (target 171)

Here he goes again! Nicholas Pooran fancies this!

Six again takes him on to 36 off 25 balls. It's a filthy full toss in fairness, but it still needs to be put away and he does so with authority to fire the crowd up again.
