By Adam Williams, Rob Stevens and Josef Rindl

All times stated are UK

  1. Notts take two quick wickets

    Leicestershire 42-2 (5.2 overs) v Nottinghamshire

A much needed wicket for Nottinghamshire as Harry Gurney tempts Mark Cosgrove with a slower ball.

The opener gets it all wrong though and Matthew Carter has an easy catch at short fine leg.

And no sooner has one wicket gone then Luke Fletcher bowls Arron Lilley for a two-ball duck. Game on!

  2. Yorkshire continue to stutter

    Yorkshire 37-3 (5.4 overs) v Durham

Durham's decision to bowl first continuing to bear fruit as they pick up another wicket in the powerplay.

Jonny Tattersall miscues a drive off Nathan Rimmington and is caught in the covers by Graham Clark for just 7.

  3. Willey goes cheaply

    Yorkshire 21-2 (3.3 overs) v Durham

Another big scalp for Durham sees them dismiss Yorkshire all-rounder David Willey for just 2.

Matthew Potts with a sharp caught and bowled down low in his follow through to send the England man on his way.

  4. Foxes quick out the blocks

    Leicestershire 27-0 (3 overs) v Nottinghamshire

Hosts Leicestershire are starting brightly against Notts and have already added 27 runs in their first three overs.

A win for either side would be huge for their qualification hopes.

  5. Klinger gets Glos going

    Gloucestershire 18-0 (2 overs) v Somerset

Gloucestershire have made a decent start to their innings at Bristol.

Four runs came from the first over but then Michael Klinger hit three fours in the second over from Jerome Taylor.

Fourteen come off the over in total, and the visitors are under a bit of pressure already.

This is a crucial game for both sides, as fourth placed in the South Group hosts fifth.

One points separates the teams heading into the match.

  6. Lyth an early victim for Steel

    Yorkshire 20-1 (3 overs) v Durham

Durham have the chance to break into the top four in the North Group with a win tonight at Chester-le-Street.

They won the toss and chose to bowl first against Yorkshire and have picked up the wicket of Adam Lyth in the first three overs for 13. Scott Steel the man to get the first wicket for the hosts.

  10. What a difference a week makes!

    wet

Wind the clock back seven days when we last tried to bring you a Friday night of T20 Blast action and we had unprecedented scenes....

Eight matches were scheduled but all eight were washed-out as the weather turned decidedly wet.

Delighted to say conditions are much more pleasant this week!

  11. And in the South Group....

    South Group

Just the two games in the South Group tonight and we could have new leaders later this evening.

Sussex were narrowly beaten at home by Essex on Thursday, which opens the door to Kent to reclaim top spot.

The Spitfires host Surrey while they could be a change of places when Gloucestershire in fourth host Somerset in fifth in a West Country derby at Bristol.

  12. How it stands in the North Group

    North Group

Leaders Lancashire have a night off, which gives second-placed Worcestershire the chance to narrow the gap if they can get a win over local neighbours Birmingham Bears.

Third and fourth meet at Grace Road as Leicestershire host Notts Outlaws, while two sides just outside the top four in Durham and Derbyshire have a chance to sneak in when they host Northants and Yorkshire respectively.

  13. Tonight's fixtures

  14. Friday night fun and games

    four

Right then - fancy a break from some cricket for some more cricket?

Fingers crossed teams will score more than 67 in this particular format of the game and also try not to completely ruin their chances in the space of two hours.

Get where I'm coming from? Good.

Welcome along to another Friday night of T20 Blast action, lets put those Ashes blues behind us...
