  1. Farewell

The Hundred delivers another cracker - thanks for joining us.

That's it for tonight but we have more Hundred action for you tomorrow with Southern Brave taking on Welsh Fire.

You can watch the women's fixture from 14:55 BST on BBC iPlayer and Red Button, followed by the men on BBC Two at 18:00 BST.

The report of London Spirit's nail-biting win over Manchester Originals in the men's Hundred will be live shortly.

And the report of the Spirit win over the Originals in the women's tournament earlier is available here.

Have a good one and catch you soon.

  2. Post update

Manchester Originals captain Carlos Brathwaite: "It was a good game of cricket, sometimes you've got to admit that the opposition played better.

"We were playing catch up for a lot of the game and left ourselves too much to do.

"It was a good team effort all around, I don't have many negatives other than the fact we didn't win.

"I've been practicing the ramp shot so I knew I had to get it out at some point! But I think Blake Cullen bowled well and executed his plans well, in this format one ball can change the game and that's what he did."

  3. Post update

Manchester Originals are still in it, sitting fifth in the table on six points, one behind Invincibles and Brave, and two behind table toppers Birmingham Phoenix and second-placed Trent Rockets.

This was the Originals final game at Old Trafford though - they have crucial ties away to the Rockets and Northern Supercharges remaining.

  4. Post update

Match Hero Brad Wheal: "I only got told yesterday that I was playing. It's been a tough tournament but it's great to get a win at last.

"It was a dream start getting the wicket first ball, so that settled the nerves early on. I just wanted to land it on the pitch really, because I haven't bowled in a game in a while!

"I've bowled at the death a few times for Hampshire and it's a really valuable skill to have so I was happy to be asked to do it."

  5. Post update

London Spirit remain bottom of the table, despite their first win, with three points.

They are also mathematically eliminated from contention, given Oval Invincibles in third and Southern Brave in fourth are both on seven points, but are playing each other on Monday 16 August, so someone will take at least a point from that one.

Six and 50. In vain in the end...

  7. Post update

London Spirit captain Eoin Morgan: "I'm absolutely delighted. It's not easy watching from the sidelines but Adam Rossington did an amazing job taking over the reins.

"Manchester Originals played brilliantly but we just managed to get that bit of luck we've been waiting for throughout the tournament.

"My knee is still a bit sore, I'll see how it is tomorrow and go from there.

"Today for us was all about giving our young players a go. We've been far from our best but we wanted to cause a bit of an upset and this win is something to be proud of."

  8. Post update

Right, trash everything I said earlier about Spirit lacking the spinners required to win this one.

Pace to the fore! Brad Wheal, 24, finishes with a remarkable 4-17 off his 20 balls, while Blake Cullen, 19, takes 1-32 off his 20 - more expensive, but that wicket of Carlos Brathwaite was so vital.

Spin was also key to be fair - Mohammad Nabi claimed 2-19 and Mason Crane 1-25.

  9. Post update

At this stage, you really couldn't see London Spirit denying Manchester Originals victory...

    Michael Vaughan

Former England captain on BBC Two

They know they can't reach the eliminators but the first win is always special. That will feel good for the London Spirit.

    Phil Tufnell

Former England spinner on BBC Two

What a win for the Spirit. It came from nowhere and it's the youngsters who have come up trumps for Eoin Morgan. It was a tricky time for them to bowl but Blake Cullen and Brad Wheal held it together.

Klaassen hit wicket Wheal 0 (Originals 136-9)

A miserable collapse by the Manchester Originals is capped off by a rather embarrassing wicket.

Fred Klaassen tries to paddle the last ball away - it's all along the ground so not the six they needed anyway - and in doing so steps back and trods on his own stumps. Dearie me.

But that is a brilliant, gutsy performance by London Spirit's young pace bowlers there, especially on a pitch more conducive to spin.

Blake Cullen and Brad Wheal bowled beautifully at the death to finally get Spirit their first win of the competition.

    Michael Vaughan

Former England captain on BBC Two

    You've got to dive!

  14. WICKET

    Hartley run out (Cullen/Rossington) 1 (Originals 136-8)

Hartley swipes one round the corner, scurries the first, turns for the second but doesn't dive.

It's a fine throw in from Cullen, Rossington whips off the bails and Hartley is gone.

The Originals need seven from the final ball. A six for a tie. Just don't bowl a no-ball Wheal!

  15. Post update

    Olly Stone

    England bowler on BBC Two

These are the situations that you love as a young player. The only way you learn is by being out there and being in the tough situations.

  16. Post update

    Phil Tufnell

Former England spinner on BBC Two

That has been a courageous spell of bowling from young Blake Cullen.

  17. Originals 135-7

    Need eight runs to win

Tom Hartley can't connect. Originals need two fours or a six and a couple.

  18. New batter: Lockie Ferguson

    Lockie Ferguson
  19. WICKET

    Harrison b Wheal 1 (Originals 135-7)

Full, straight and pacey from Brad Wheal.

Calvin Harrison misses and suddenly Manchester Originals are deep in the mire.

  20. Post update

    Phil Tufnell

Former England spinner on BBC Two

Brad Wheal has been top draw tonight.
